What are Town Riders and Rural Riders?
Town Riders and Rural Riders are Community Transport schemes that provide transport within a certain catchment area. The schemes are operated by Community Bus Groups which are run by volunteers.
Who can use the Town Riders and Rural Riders?

The Town Riders and Rural Riders are specifically for people with mobility problems due to medical condition or due to rural isolation. Please check the criteria to see if you are eligible to use the Town Riders and Rural Riders. All the Town Riders have a lift for wheelchair access and a low step to get into the minibus.
Passengers must be registered with the relevant Town Rider and Rural Rider schemes. Registration is free by calling the relevant scheme’s number.
